Commission Information!

Why did no one tell me I could watch/download shows and anime on xbox live?! Seriously... I could snag pretty much all of chowder, doctor who { 9 & 10, respectfully }, and even check out anime I've been meaning to see all on there if I wanted!

Why am I always the last to know these things? Seriously?

[yeah yeah, feel free to laugh at me and my n00bishness... I rarely ever USE Xbox live... Imma loser. ]

Commissions are still open, though I haven't gotten any bites yet. Anywho, prices are readjusted at a lower rate so they'll feel more affordable! ; Again, I am focusing on "quickie" commissions. Chibis, busts, line art/sketches and the like. I am willing to do fan art, original art, pretty much anything~! Just keep it no worse than mild PG-13. [if you'd see it on network TV, then yer good. Hurr] All i do is ask is to simply provide reference images and a brief description of said character[s] so I'll know what to do and how to keep things accurate and fun.

I am willing to do digital, traditional, or mixed medium art, just specify what you would like done and I will gladly work with you! If you are interested either leave a comment in my journal or hit me up with a devnote, and we can discuss further from there.

So I am considering doing commissions. Mainly because I am fairly short on cash [thank you, $170 glasses.] and figure commission based work will help me earn some extra cash as well as keep the creative juices flowing.

It'd be easy, fun little things like chibi-drawings or things like LJ-icons of chars and whatnot. Nothing too crazy to break the bank or anything, haha! basically things like this:

Still thinking up prices, but I doubt I am going to go over $10 at most, depending on what you want. [unless you are specific and want something crazy, like a huge ass painting™ or something. Hurr. Also, I am willing to do both digital and traditional work. Fan Art and original art. Silly and cute to serious and EPIC™. So yeah, hopefully I can get the ball rolling on this! Also, don't be afraid to mix and match. Want chibi-art but don't want it colored? I can do it as line art! Want a line art piece with a dash of color? That's fine too! I am pretty open to anything. c: Just keep it PG/PG-13[nothing too raunchy/over the top.] and you'll be all set!

So, remember how I was all "YAARRR I BE PLANNIN' SOMETHIN'!!!!111" a while back?

Well, i am FINALLY FOLLOWING UP ON THAT! Haha... I take forever to do things.

As to what it is? Well, I am [faking] being brave and working on a webcomic. All those chibi sketches and char designs I threw up actually have a PURPOSE now! I've been working on this zany story for years now, and finally feel comfident enough to try making it into a webcomic. How well it will do I have no clue, but I can't keep it bottled up in my thick head forever, nor will I know if it'll fail/succeed or not unless I put it out there!

So yeah, progress is slow... but steady. I at least got the first 5 pages inked up [lol trippy intro is trippy], just need to decide if I wanna digitally color it or traditionally color it with my ten bazjillionmillion copic markers I now have. Harrrr. D:

HOPEFULLY EXPECT MOAR NEWZ SOON?! AND POSSIBLY ACTUAL COMIX INFO/SITE/LOLWHUT?!

Call the authorities, I have become infected with the plague. Seriously, being sick is terrible... whoever thought viruses and diseases were a good idea needs to be shot. I DO NOT LIKE HAVING MY HEAD FEEL LIKE IT IS READY TO VIOLENTLY EXPLODE THANK YOU.

In other news...

even though it's a looooooooooong ways away, I am shooting to have an art table at AnimeNEXT 2010. Crazy, I know... but lets face it; I am an extremely slow worker that gets very easily distracted. If I don't start drawing up stuff for this thing now I never will. Already got some potential designs ready, just need to work on things like prints and stuff.

I may, just may, also FINALLY do something involving my original characters/story/universe[lol] for this thing. Like introductions/scenarios/HILARIOUS SHENANIGANS and that sort of thing. Nothing major or extra fancy, just me finally actually DOING something productive instead of mill around with character designs and ideas that result in doing absolutely nothing.

Plus it's a great excuse for me to get used to doing stuff like "sequential art" [i.e. comicz lololol] among other things. I WILL CONQUER YOU, 4 PANEL ORIENTED FORMAT, DO YOU HEAR ME? I WILL CONQUER YOU AND MAKE WITH THE FUNNY.
