Finally. After WEEKS of struggling and fighting painter IX and my dying hand... it's DONE!

What is this exactly? It's [hopefully...] the first in a series of the five major dragon aspects in Warcraft's Lore. The first of this series of course, Alexstrasza, the life binder: Queen of all dragons and the aspect of life. She is charged with caring for all life on azeroth, be it plant, humanoid, or animal, and her and her red dragon flight do what they can to keep the balance of life and nature in order and all that good stuff.

Think Okami, but with a big honkin' dragon instead of a white wolf, you'll get the idea. :heart:

As for the image? It took so long I don't even know anymore, I lost track after the first 20 some odd hours in... and of course I've worked so much on it that I no longer even like it anymore... especially after marathoning it today to finish it, only to be held up and lose 3 1/2 extra hours. because any attempt at an honest to god background either resulting in painter crashing, photoshop crashing, the files not working/loading, the textures not working, and for some strange reason, painter and photoshop not displaying the SAME file/image correctly and not being compatible. ARGARGARG.

Maybe later after I've calmed the hell down I'll go back and work in some type of background texture or SOMETHING... for now, enjoy the color backsplash as I nurse my crippled, gnarled right arm.

hahaha, I am just out of practice, is all. Need to get my art groove back!
